I was delighted to learn that Elizabeth Klett–the talented voice actress I’ve worked with on the audiobooks for With This Curse, Cursed Once More, and Nocturne for a Widow–will be releasing free audio performances of vampire stories on every Friday in October! Elizabeth says she was inspired by my recent post on favorite vampire stories, and her first selection is E.F. Benson’s delightfully creepy “Mrs. Amworth.” Listen to it on her site. I’ll continue to update this post throughout the month as Elizabeth releases more vampire tales. If you’d like to learn more about Elizabeth and her recordings, check out the interview here. Happy listening!
Week two: “Luella Miller” by the underrated American author Mary Wilkins Freeman.
Week three: “Good Lady Ducayne,” part one, by Mary Elizabeth Braddon.
